Dear Explorers,
Did you know..........................................on this day in 1911, Norwegian Roald Amundsen became the first explorer to reach the South Pole. What a privilege for you all to be there, or nearly there, on this special day.
Excitement is reaching fever pitch in Junior School as we approach the countdown to Christmas. Goerge would have been proud of all the Nursery and Pre-school children this week as they presented their Nativity, 'Mary's Knitting.' It was wonderful, with everyone rising to the occasion. The P1 girls had a great time at their party with Roseburn children earlier this week and next Monday and Tuesday we are all looking forward to the P1 and 2 Christmas show. P3-5 Carol Service takes place tomorrow in St Mary's and everyone is in fine voice.
Johnson Smillie send their greetings to you and they are delighted with the Antarctic display in their window. It looks fabulous.
