Incident on Ship

On the evening of Friday 14th December, while the ship's company were all at dinner during a fairly rough crossing from the South Orkneys towards Elephant Island, George went missing. After dinner there was a photograph of George in the common area, with him holding up a sign asking for help. He had obviously been kidnapped. The St George's students were distraught and carried out a thorough investigation but to no avail. George has still not been recovered but a note was received from him today(Saturday) suggesting that he had gone of his own free will because he felt he would be better looked after and would have more freedom to enjoy life if he didn't have to go travelling all the time with the girls. We cannot tell whether he wrote this under duress. However, today, Saturday, the girls have written to him and promised to spoil him a little, pay him more attention and give him a huge bar of chocolate if he comes back to them. Meanwhile the investigation continues as more photographs of George have been mysteriously appearing of him on the bridge, steering the ship, reading the radar screen and looking out for icebergs.
We are confident of recovering him as he has definitely not left the ship - the lifeboats are intact!
Could the Hon Lady Smith advise as to which government or court we can appeal to prosecute the perpetrator of this cruel and dastardly crime, when apprehended.
We are south of 60 degrees and therefore in Antarctica which does not belong to any particular country so whose law applies?
